Beef Tongue is much underrated and is a more traditional cut from the animal. Perfect for slow cooking and is a great winter dish for the whole family. If inspiration is needed this cut can often be found in our restaurant Farmer, Butcher, Chef.

Our cattle are bred to give high quality cuts of award winning meat with an exceptional marbling of fat. As all our beef is hung for 28 days, it produces a lovely flavour and deep colour. We've previously won Gold Stars in the Great Taste Awards for our fillet and sirloin. 

The beautiful deep-red Sussex, our beef cattle, thrive on the chalk downland, having been farmed on the land at Goodwood for centuries. Our cattle are fed on forage grown on the estate; this is a mix of clovers, oats, whole crop barley, whole crop silages and wheat, beans and vetches.
